Giant Javan Fig Tree-Royal Botanical Garden,Peradeniya sri lanka
The Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya date as far back as 1371 to
the time of King Wickramabahu III. Today it attracts 2 million visitors
annually.
It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids and includes
more than 4000 species of plants, including spices, medicinal plants and
palm trees.
