Let us protect the wetland. Every year February 2nd we are celebrating the world wetland day. It is an important event conducted by us as human to protect the wet land and the biodiversity belongs to wetland. Wetlands are protecting the environmental balance of various ecosystems. Wetlands consist of rivers, lowlands,grasslands, estuaries, wetland, forest, coral reefs, fish ponds, paddy fields and  water tanks. Wetlands are getting destroyed due to the continuous human activities, tourism, real estate, and various effects of human on wetlands. Effects on wetlands destroy biodiversity, precipitation, food chain, flow of precipitation water and the bond between the organisms belong to wetlands. The world wetland conference was held in ramsar at iron in 1971. Mini environmental conservation organisations and wildlife organisations from all over the world were participated in this conference to protect the wetlands. Wetlands are containing water surfaces.

Ferns are non flowering plants which are living in hill county where there is a cold climate. It reproduce by spores which are the special reproductive structures found underneath leaves. They have a simple root system to absorb water. They are photosynthetic, so they have the ability to produce their own food.

Wild flowers so beautiful. can we see only during few months of the Year you should we sit to large forest to see wonderful wild flowers during the months of January February until April in Sri Lanka. this flower is also found in the hill country Sri Lanka in cold mountain ranges. I was visiting to a mountain range very recently and so this wonderful flower and capture with my camera
