Transport - Public transport ( Nawalapitiya-Thalawakele route) B317
Route - Colombo --> Kandy(A1) --> Nawalapitiya --> Kadienlena(B317) - You have to get "Nawalapitiya-Thalawakele" or "Nawalapitiya- Thispane" buses in order to reach..!!!
Weather - Mild,clear sky (but unpredictable)
Food & Lodging - Kataboola can be considered as remote village..If you want stay somewhere it's better to stay either in Nawalapitiya or Thalawakele..It's hard to find a hotel even..

Notes - As always protect the nature. Feel it but don't steal it..because we've seen couple of places where people went wrong around the waterfall..( On your way to the waterfall you may see some of them )

Most people in sri lanka can identify an Araliya tree no matter how little they know about trees. The Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya date as far back as 1371 to the time of King Wickramabahu III. Today it attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids and includes more than 4000 species of plants, including spices, medicinal plants and palm trees.  This is the Giant Java Fig tree in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya, south east of Kandy, Sri Lanka. A sign at the base of this tree reads... (Java Fig) (Moraceae) species - Ficus Benjamina This is a large handsome tree indigenous to Malayasia and introcuded to Sri Lanka in 1861. The specimen here is over 100 years old and has spread over an area of about 2420 sq. meters.
