Hybrid Teas are one of the most recognized and popular cut flowers. They are known for their long-stemmed elegance and high centered blooms. Their upright canes are more open than bushy and carry large flowers. This rose has an extensive colorful palette that allows for it's vibrancy to be seen in the garden from a distance.

Vesak lanterns called Vesak koodu are lit in most of the homes in  Sri Lanka  on Vesak poya day. The lighting signifies an offering to the memory of the Buddha who delivered the message of Dhamma. In ancient times, people used their clay oil lamps for illumination. When candles became popular, colourful lanterns were made in different shapes and colours were used. Many associations arrange competitions on Vesak lanterns with the creators of the most beautiful lanterns being awarded valuable prizes.

The Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya date as far back as 1371 to the time of King Wickramabahu III. Today it attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids and includes more than 4000 species of plants, including spices, medicinal plants and palm trees.  This is the Giant Java Fig tree in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya, south east of Kandy, Sri Lanka. The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club , founded in 1889, is one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia and probably the world and is enriched with a tradition and an ambiance, which is hard to equal. A happy old man. I saw him in ramboda,sri Lanka. He don't have the ability to speak. But he is able to talk with the sign language. Living alone. Really no one is there with him. He don't like to beg and eat. Earning money  by sailing flowers, lottery tickets and newspaper. Always being with a smile.
